Current mood:  determined
Category: Music

GUITARIST MUST :
Guitarist must
-be between the ages of 20ish to 30ish
-Own (TUBE) Amplifier only! (Please respect this request and don't bombard us with bitchy emails about how awesome your "non" tube amp is. Seriously don't have the time to debate. Not saying your amp doesn't rock, its just our personal preference, so please respect it)
-Humbucking guitar that isn't a cheap piece of wood with strings....(Sorry guys, no offense but if you own a Mesa and your guitar cost $300, you need to rethink your priorities.. Quality of your guitar is just as or more important than your amplication)
-have a decent assortment of effects processing "if song calls for it"
-vocal ability for backup harmonies a PLUS!
-Rehearse in Greensboro 2-3 times per week on Tues, Thurs, & some Sundays. Reheasal is 6:30ish-10ish giver or take 30 minutes.
-Must be responsible for rent money for reheasal space ever 2nd of the month in the amount of $31

Basically I"m looking for a few guys with talent, drive, dedication, and professional attitudes who want to take it all the way. Are you willing to make the sacrifice if the opportunity arose? All musicians interest must possess or fall into the above stated criteria. All musicians also must be willing to come in and learn current EP/Album , basically treating the songs as covers(we primarily playin Standard tuning E 440). I have had a basic vision musically for years. The material currently recorded has started to pave the pathway towards that vision. I'm just looking for some guys to share this vision. NO DRUGGIES!! IF your wives or girlfriends don't support your music DO NOT waste my time or yours.
If interested email  Infinity5150@yahoo.com...or hit me back on here.
Thanks,
TLH

hope all works out for you bro which i know it will man and keep ya head up talent is one thing NO ONE can take from you bro remember that even if your dirt poor no friends nothing at all you still have your music so that makes it all worth it we all go through rough times in life but these are the things that will make you stronger duder both in life and as a musician take this as an influence not a set back nothing can stop your dreams nothing can change the fact that you love music because it's your passion not something your doing to "Look cool" that right there deserves so much respect. most people would quit when they lost their band mates .....so honestly i think it'll work out for you not only are you starting from the ground up again your doing it ON YOUR OWN .....keep it up bro keep your head high and STAY FOCUSED NO MATTER WHAT

and yes a humbucking guitar is a cheap piece of wood with strings on it. I rebuild guitars such as these but they have to be name brand. I currently have a RR3 that only cost me $180 used. I fixed it up and now It kicks the shit of the new ones. I has baltic birch body and maple neck.

Is there really a market up there in greensboro to have those kind of demands for musicians ??

Must be nice...

Sounds like the adds I read when I was in the bay area of C.A.
,lol

Anyway, if you find someone Talented I'm selling my 5150 cheap , The Jsx can do what it does and more so it's gotta go..I'm selling about 10 different stomp boxes as well..Well taken care of too. It's funny My Washburn n4 was only 350.00 ,lol But I will be keeping that for sure.
Best piece of wood with strings ever made besides the 80's steinbergers, lol Best of luck to you,RR

Well as far as anything being said here. Yes you can make inexpensive used guitars sound great and it's cheaper to do so if you know what your doing. I know so I bought I Dean Dime ML Shadow used for only about $500 but it was in great shape. As far as it being cheap it does not matter how much it cost you. As long as it has athe parts necessary to perform whatever music style you want. Like in metal you'll want a mahogany body with high output pick-ups or active pick-ups and some heavy gauge strings. Yes you can experiment with it and I say do so.
Secondly let's talk about effects. Effects are by far the best accessory ever created since the guitar strap. Now effects are great and I say having a lot is great but keep in mind you really don't need alot of effects but it's nice to try other effects who knows you may find ones that will replace your favorite in time. I know I constantly try newer distortion boxes to see if anything beats my favorites and if so I swear to it but I never trade it because it got replaced by something better. NOw the only thing I can say about effects besides preference and style choice is there are no rules really except this if you plan to use a bazillon effects. Try a Multi-effects board like a Boss ME-70 or Line 6 Pocket POD and if you plan to use many pedals add some in with True Bypass otherwise have fun trying to figure out what you like and what makes your tone sound good. Whether anything is engaged or not I hope.
Lastly lets talk about amps yes it really doesn't matter what your amp is, but as my main point of this is gear is a personal choice and some people prefer tubes because of it's warm tone while others like all the fuzz of a solid state amp. It's stuff we grow to love through experience. Neither one is better really while tube amps can sometimes have the hassle of changing the tubes it still makes it a high demand breed of amplifier. Like I said however it
