Submit your entry for March Charity of the Month
In order to be eligible to submit your charity, you must participate in EFA in some way for the month before nominating. This can be as easy as posting in the EFA forums for 5 minutes, posting about efa on your blog, donating to the EFA shop, etc.  To nominate a charity, please fill out the form by the 21st of the month here: http://www.efaartistshelpinganimals.org/charitynominations.htm

In shelters all across the U.S. 4 million dogs and cats are put down
every year.  Not forty thousand, not even four hundred thousand - but
4 MILLION!  Imagine 4 MILLION innocent dogs and cats.  Spaying and
neutering helps keep pet overpopulation at bay.  Let's team up to make
a difference in the many lives of unwanted dogs and cats in the
future!
EFA and EtsyVeg are teaming up to support HSUS' Spay Day 2009. 
Please join us! All you have to do is offer a 1 day special in your Etsy shop.
Times are tough for everyone so you can choose what and how much you want to
do - whether it be free shipping or a certain percentage off. You can
do more than one item or your entire shop if you want - the choice is
yours.  The only stipulation is that you offer this special on at
least one item in your shop.
All who sign up by Sunday, Feb 15, will get their Etsy shop included
in the EFA/EtsyVeg Spay Day graphic, so please make sure your name is
on the list if you'd like to participate.  Contact EFA's
alilsumptinsumptin by email (alilsumptinsumptin at gmail dot com) or
convo (alilsumptinsumptin.etsy.com) to be added.
A special Spay Day email that will include info, instructions and
graphics will be emailed to you on or around the 18th.  This is a
great opportunity to promote our teams, your Etsy shop, and this very
important, animal life-saving message across.  The more voices added
will increase our chances for the message to be heard.

Its Meow or Never Auction Request
It's Meow or Never Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is collecting items for our Annual Paws For A Cause 2009 Auction being held in June.  Please donate your items to It's Meow or Never, P.O. Box 733 , Woodinville , WA   98072 .  We are hoping to raise $25,000 so we can open our low cost spay/neuter clinic and adoption center.  Please help us so we can save more animals in dire need!  You will receive advertising, a receipt for the IRS as well as the satisfaction of helping so many animals that are needlessly put down every day.
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends Auction Items Request
They are dedicated to addressing the overpopulation problem in the metro
Atlanta area. On April 18, 2009 AARF will hold "219: The Show" at Fine Line Gallery in Atlanta, GA. This is a benefit to raise awareness and much-needed
funds to address the pet overpopulation in Atlanta.  AARF is looking for artists and crafts people to donate art to be sold in a silent auction.  The event will be heavily publicized both in print, radio and TV. All artists will be listed in the program and an artist bio will be posted by each donated piece. Donations are tax-deductible.
