You never really know what you're going to find when you start a new job.  I was desperate having no regular work for several months, 7 to be exact.  People love to talk, don't they?  They also love to put up a front, have a power trip, or do something that let's you know who the boss is.

I started a job a few months ago, through a temp agency.  Now, usually when this happens, the potential employer will drag the hiring process on and on, because the longer you stay on the temp agency payroll, the less it costs for the potential employer to hire on the employee.  I was very surprised when my current employer said that it was coming to the end of my temp contract and we had to get paperwork done if I wanted to be hired on.

I felt complimented.  I didn't have to ask to be hired, beg, badger or anything like that.  They did it themselfs.  The only happened one other time, when the owner of a particular company decided to hire me on a month prior to the end of my contract.  There were actual fees that went along with that.

Well, this current employer and I had a difficult time getting along in the beginning, there was so much complaining going on back and forth that the temp agency was beginning to think they made a mistake.  lol  Poor placement people.

Obviously things worked out and I'm gaining more respect as the days go on.
