First of all, on this Mother's Day, let me say that all of you TRUE Mother's out there are spectacular! You run yourselves ragged doing for your family and why?  All because you love them and you want to provide and care for them the best that you can. For that...kudos! 

I'm looking at things from a different perspective today though.  There are a lot of women out there who don't do what a TRUE mother should do.  As I sit here longing with every fiber in my soul to be a Mom, I wonder how some women out there could not want their children or how they could abuse them or neglect them?  How is it possible? It is beyond comrehension to me, and it hurts so deeply to know that these women don't deserve to be parents yet are given that blessing.  

So with that I say to everyone...

Always remember what a blessing your children are.  Even when they smart mouth, throw tantrums, and refuse to clean their room...remember the blessing that has been bestowed on you. Remember what it feels like when they hug your neck at 3 years old and say I love you mommy, or I love you daddy! Those are the moments I long for and the moments that all parents should cherish!

I hope that one day I will be blessed enough to be a parent, but until then I will spoil my puppies rotten, dote on every child I see, and patiently wait until my day comes.
