hey dudes,

its been a while i know.  i'm going to record the next 4 drum tracks for our next record (tentitively titled 1998) next week.  i'm pretty excited.  imix has been working on his guitar at his home and things are coming along very nicely.  hopefully we're going to have some idea of how far along we actually are by the end of the summer.  we've been working on this album since we were about midway through recording the manifest destiny.  we work in weird ways...but these songs have been marinating and still continue to be developed.  time is the key ingredient in making decent tunez, it seems.  if you rush it, shit comes out whack. so yeah, hopefully we'll be playing out some more, but making new recordings is more of a pressing issue.

we're going to have our track "i hate it here" on a benefit compilation for the invisible children, which we are pretty excited about.  more info soon.
