Inside sources claim California grindcore act Graf Orlock will soon be filing a lawsuit against Chicago based Hewhocorrupts LLC due to remarks made in early December 2008 by HWC Inc. CEO Thomas Camaro. During a recent interview conducted to help promote Hewhocorrupts upcoming Puerto Rican trade shows, Camaro was asked about the use of audio samples in Hewhocorrupts songs. The interviewer drew audio sample comparisons to Graf Orlock which outraged Camaro enough to state "Graf Orlock is a bunch of California, Laguna Beach surfin, Tom Cruise sunglass wearin' pussies! They can take their sound bites and go get a fake tan with them!".
When initially confronted with the news, lead Graf Orlock guitar player Justin Slumlord, threw down his surf board and kicked some sand around on the beach - not unlike how 90's grunge sensations Ugly Kid Joe did in most of their music videos. Slumlord claimed that Graf Orlock would be filing a suit against Hewhocorrupts, outraged by the bands claim that they surf in Laguna Beach. According to Slumlord, while the band continues to date women from the Laguna Beach area, they do not surf there because there are too many "sharp rocks".
