WE alll saw what happened at the VMAs. A bunch of yall are pissed off at Mr. West... A bunch of ya'll probably hate Mr. West as well and will probably never buy a record from him... and before yall start bashing out Kanye or whoever, lets talk about that one funny kid from school... yeah that one kid that would stand out and crack up jokes or interrupt the teacher just to show off in front of the class and yall would laugh hysterically because it would provide comic relief for the whole boring day and that would help yall get the day go by. Ya'll remember that dont you? That one class you couldn't wait to go or at least look forward to because that one kid would do things unexpectly and you were just curious to see what he would come up with next, or as a matter a fact be the one to always step up and be argue serious issues and have a point when the teacher would discuss a certain topic...
I'm not trying to say what Kanye did was right or anything of that nature, but really, what is the difference between this and stepping up for what you believe in? I mean, when we disagree with something, are we suppose to shut up and keep it to ourselves or do we have the right to speak about it? Are we bashing someone for their opinion just because Taylor is a "sweet" innocent country singer and take this too serious?? Why can't we just look at this and be like, look, dude is speaking out in what he believes in and in a shocking way, ENTERTAINING To us the VIEWER! cuz real talk, the VMA's arent really something to look forward to and sit through 3 hrs of just saying the "RIGHT THING". Its ENTERTAINMENT people, something that you can look at and be like wow, "I can't believe he just did that". I remember a skinny tatted up rapper a while back used to do some of these lil shennanigans, you know, speak up for what he believed in, would even piss off people as well... yeah you know, that guy that some believe to be alive... PAC anyone?? Now that he is gone, we all celebrate his "genious" and his way of speaking for what he believed in... yeah.. NOW THAT HES GONE WE LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH RIGHT? same thing with Michael Jackson.. The point is, Kanye loves to speak about what he believes in and we take it as an offensive disrespectful way when in fact we can turn it around and be like, oh man thats his opinion and he has the right to speak about what he believes in! We shouldn't teach our next generation to SHUT UP and keep their opinions, we SHOULD EMBRACE IT and tell them our next generation to SPEAK UP, SAY WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID, cuz in the end, we dont wanna be living in a world full of fronters and keep a smile all the time, sometimes we need to see the ugly side of things...
