the absolute best first step in getting a show at sadlack's is to send a message to this myspace.  i manage the shows through the myspace page, and it's easier for me to just listen to the music on your myspace site. 

if you can't do that, send an email to sadlacks@gmail.com.  i rarely check that so don't get upset when it's like 2 months and you haven't heard anything back..

if you don't have an email address, i don't understand why, and therefore, it will be very hard to get a gig.  even if you call and leave message after message at the bar.  i guess bribes could work at that point.

now for the important stuff.....  if you really want to play here, figure out some possible dates that will work for you, and suggest those when you email me.  that will give you more chance of me paying attention to you.  sifting through all of the stuff i get takes time, and it's hard for me to take you seriously if you just want to play "sometime in the near future."

sadlacks is small, and on fridays and saturdays shows are outside.  therefore, it is important that watching volume is something you can do if you want to play here. 

it's not very hard to get a gig here, and we want all kinds of bands.....so don't hesitate to send some email!

after i give you the gig, send some flyers to the bar about a week to 10 days before your gig.  shows start at 7 on fri and sat and 5:30 on sundays.
