The album "Magnificent Accident" is finally finished. It will be available at any digital media outlet (iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon etc.) very soon. The official release date was Dec. 15th. 2008. It can currently be fully streamed at Last.FM. Listen for Courtnee Papastathis' haunting vocals in the 6th track "Last Breath". She's amazing.

This album is about life and death. The cycle of a human life is very similar to that of, well, anything else. A star is born and eventually dies billions of years later. A fruit fly is born and dies two weeks later. Even though the time scale is different; it's still bound by that immutable cycle.
The rise and fall of consciousness in this unfathomably minuscule part of the universe fascinates me. Chaos is a gorgeous thing. Order can exist within chaos but only temporarily. That's what we're experiencing now - a little bit of order. As a society we must see things as "in order" or some alignment that is falsely eternal and rigid. We're really just twirling around on a big blue sphere in space, completely and utterly integrated with the chaos happening over billions and trillions of years.
It's amazing we're even here. I feel lucky I'm along for the ride on this magnificent accident that is Earth.
"Magnificent Accident" is my subjective point of view of a human's life cycle, still precious within the chaos.
