ok...so it's about 1:30 or so up here in P-town Ma. and i am watching the Golden Girls.....(oh the excitement of being a rock star.) This is STILL a very funny show. Still makes me laugh....and what makes it even more enjoyable is that i can remember how it made my grandmother laugh. Even at the jokes that were a little "off color" by 20 year old standards. But here is what brings me to this blog tonight.
SEX and The City.......
I have come to the conclusion that all Sex and the City is ...is a modern day....(yes a little more off color, but that only comes with keeping up with our society) version of Golden Girls.
Do this....next time you watch Golden Girls (admit it...i know you all do) Picture the characters as such:

Dorthy...(maude or whatever her name is....) Carrie

Rose (betty White) Charlotte

Blanche (won't even begin to explain who she is...was no one before the show and well...where is she now) she is that lovable slut Samatha

and the old lady Sophia............well she Amanda....for no reason other than she dresses badly....

So i just thought i'd share some of the weird things i think about.......
