Gabry Fasano Gabry
Fasano's career starts with the expansion of house music in europe in
1988. The same year, after his first summer spent in Ibiza, he starts
playing in the underground circuit in private villa parties around
Florence, leading the development of the electronic music scene in the
following years. Since 1990, as a pioneer he leads the way playing in
the first house clubs in Italy, such as Kamakama, Insomnia and Jaiss
bringing them to the top of the disco scene in Italy for more than ten
years. In the year 2000 he becomes also resident in Cocorico' in
Riccione, and in 2002 he joins Mauro Picotto's family, Meganite,
playing alongside international stars in several Meganite parties in
many countries including Switzerland, Scotland, England, Ireland, USA,
and Colombia. Since 2004 he is resident at the Meganite party at
Privilege in Ibiza. Since 2006 he plays regularly in Tenax, Florence
and producing for Alchemy records, Mauro Picotto's Label)
Francesco Poggi It
is in the early 90’s when Francesco Poggi launched his career as a DJ
in Italy’s hottest nightclubs, featuring in well-known outdoor events
such as ‘DJ French’. Not stopping at the Mediterranean scene,
Francesco decided to go global and flew his decks and records over to
London where he decided to reside by 2004 as his style and potential
grew to become unmatched. It is in the East that Francesco found his
feet and the trendy Brick Lane clubbers gave him a warm welcome and
somehow developed an ‘addiction’ for DJ Francesco Poggi’s music. Within
months Francesco and his fellow music makers were creating clandestine
events all over East London and the ‘Whisper Party’ emerged where the
group where able to mould and define their own musical style. Poggi and
his crew used their vast array of musical interests as an influence to
create something new and unique on the electronic panorama and
incorporated minimal, electro, brake beats and all sorts of other weird
and wonderful sounds to really stimulate their crowds. Not satisfied
with it, Francesco progressed onwards to form the “Forbidden Fruit’
party, and from there things just spiralled ‘rhythmically’ out of
control as the mob just grew wilder and wilder for Poggi music... The
atmosphere was thickening as Francesco’s reputation was headed for not
just a class act DJ, but rather, for a World Class DJ. Recognising
that electronic music was spreading across the seas Francesco kept his
record bags packed and flew out with London Insomnia. He shared his
tracks and unmatchable musical charisma with the likes of the one and
only ‘Privilege’ in Ibiza, “ Ministry of sound” London and many other
International leading nightclubs as listed here
(www.myspace.com/francescopoggi). Francesco found himself playing from
the Balkans to the Balearics and latin America whilst also going back
and forth from Italy to London and really anchored himself in as an
International musician… and for him this is still just the beginning! Francesco
is focussed on producing his own music with his colleague and stage
brother Fabiano Binaglia where they are working on their own project
‘Virustage’
::Fabiano Binaglia:: Originally from central
Italy where he started, dj/producer Fabiano Binaglia first fell in love
with electronic music in the nineties. He's been DJing professionally
in the Underground circuit since 1995 as “Fabiano B”. Fabiano
played/plays in some of the best Italian clubs and in some very
important events together with some of the best artists of that period.
It was in 2004 when Fabiano took his record bags to flew for the first
time to London and started his music experiences over the capital club
scene. From that day the gigs over London increased for him and since
then he became a regular dj in the London underground music scene. From
here, Fabiano took the opportunity to join London Insomnia crew as
regular guest dj and share with them the experience of dj-ing in
“Privilege club” (Ibiza), “Ministry of Sound” (London) Egg club
(London)and many other clubs listed below. Fabiano follows and adapts
himself to the music evolution and his preferred styles are minimal,
Techno, progressive house, trance, electro, and dub as it is evident in
his dj sets. His mixing techniques are combined in a style of its own,
making the most of everything around him to create the perfect mix and
he is widely seen as one of the most technically gifted djs around.
Fabiano really is a music lover and he likes to listen to almost all
kind of music. That’s why his dj sets are influenced from really
different and disparate vibes. Fabiano is producing under the name "
Virustage" together with Francesco Poggi and he has been dj-ing around
Europe under Virustage name also.
:: DJ Jan :: Jan's
involvement in the electronic music scene started with one fateful New
Year's Eve in the early '90's and he has never looked back since. After
a successful two year stint organising and djing at the infamous Kinda
Nu parties, Jan took a couple years off the scene and came back with
his own reinterpretation of dance music. As his background comes from
house music his new sound is often on the funkier side of deep, minimal
and techno. 2009 sees Jan growing as a dj and now as a resident artist
for the Dumbfound Sound crew.
HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE DANCEFLOOR. XXX
