All kinds of good news to go around. Where do I begin?
I'll
start with the Back To The Garden camp. We will be playing our first
show on November 28th, at St. Christophers in Linthicum, MD (south of
Baltimore). This is Hell will be headlining. This show is about 10
months in the making, so we'll be bringing our A game. Come out and see
what I've been doing with my life for the past year. :) The flyer is at
the bottom of this post.
Back To The Garden is also in the
studio! We are in the process of recording three songs that we'll be
posting on the Back To The Garden myspace. I'll post one of the tracks,
titled "..Self-..addicted", to the xlfx myspace to spread the
word around. I can't wait to get finished so you guys can hear what
we're doing. Back To The Garden has come a long way over the past 10
months. It's been quite a test of patience, and we have bonded a bit
through all the setbacks we've encountered. Also, this project has
evolved considerably. The material wound up being a bit heavier than we
planned when we started the project, but we couldn't be happier with
it. We'll set a launch date for the mp3s for late November, but...
Before
we post the songs online, we are going to give away CDs with the three
tracks when xlfx comes to California! We're going to burn as many CDs
as we can, and give them away at the two shows we're playing coming up
this month. They'll be first come, first serve, so be sure to stop by
our table, or find me at the show to get a copy. We'll also be giving
away some of our Back To The Garden shirts at the shows, too. We really
want to get the word out, so for all those who wont be able to see xlfx
in Calfornia, we'll post it up on a site where you can download it (for
free, of course).
In the xlfx camp, we are pretty excited about
playing these shows coming up. We've been practicing and playing
together for the first time since the summer, and it's sounding pretty
good. We'll definitely be ready for California. In fact, practice has
gone really well lately, and we have been talking about some things.
Stay tuned, and we'll see if talk turns to action.
Come see Back To The Garden and xlooking forwardx this month! Thanks for reading! Take care.
