So in the past couple of weeks, I have been contacted by several old friends from grade school and high school via facebook. I love it. Most of you know I have a thing for nostalgia, and it's nice to see how everyone has grown up and changed. I have never been to a high school reunion, and never really wanted to go to one. I feel like this is a virtual reunion!
Finally been busy with work!! Yay! New clients, new ventures and a busy
schedule make for happy bill paying. Lots of interesting things on the
horizon as well. Very happy about that.
Published a new episode of
Worlds of Wayne. Check it out, as I feature Lauren Mulderrig and Alex Barnett. She is a great singer/songwriter and Alex is touring whith her on guitar. They stopped by Omaha and played the last show ever at Mick's, as it closed its doors last month. (sad).
On top of that, Dan brought over a cd of old songs from our old band
Times Beach. It was the band that we were in when we came to Omaha. My
first band that ever recorded original songs. On the new podcast
episode, I play Land of Memory. A song Dan and I wrote about a serial
killer getting ready to be executed for murdering his girlfriend (not
sure where that came from). This was my favorite version of the song as
we recorded an entire album, but it is barely listenable...yikes!
Added in a new promo for Mad Gringo on this and last week's episode. Check them out here:
