The Providence Animal Rescue League will offer its next round of "PARL Perfect Pooch" Basic Canine Obedience Classes starting on Saturday, October 18. Here's the basics:

-- Positive reinforcement training taught by Joyce Gauthier, a trainer with 14 years of obedience training.

-- There will be six one-hour classes every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

-- Class is open to eight dogs per class.

-- The fee covering all six classes is $95 (a great deal!).
