Ok, so, we have been meaning to make a 'real' video
for a long time now. After a few stalled starts, and a couple of
self-released show/rehearsal space live performance vids, we are ready
for something we didn't make that captures one of our songs at its
best.
So, what we are asking is for amateur or student filmmakers and
video makers out there to take a stab. All we ask is it not be
offensive (provocative is ok), and that it be high enough quality to use for the
foreseeable future and possible broadcasting. And that it represent the
band and song in a positive and artistic way. After all, it will be on
our resume.
We'd prefer it be one of our current songs, and will provide
the high quality recording. If you've been coming to our shows, you
know our latest repertoire. Pick a song you like best and do it up.
Though "Coming Over Me" is one we would really like to see, as well as "Solitude". If you have any questions for us about the meanings of the songs, feel free to ask. Though it would be cool to see YOUR interpretation.
WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?
We'll give you full credit, buy you lots of beer, let you into shows, and let you film MORE stuff for the band, and maybe even ply you with
women (or men)! If we get more than one, we will pick our favorite and consider other entries for follow up videos.
We will use the video to promote the song and the album and look forward to working with you.
