The song that I recently wrote, "A Gift For You", will be included on a benefit compilation CD titled “Unified By Grace”. It will have other Christian artists from the East Coast scene. It will be produced by Quickstar Productions out of Baltimore, MD.
This project was created by one of their founders, Brenden Bosmans. The inspiration for this CD came from a mission trip to West Ankole, Uganda that he served on in November 2007. There Brenden served at a Christian medical clinic called the Nuymbarie Clinic. The clinic was run by one nurse and serves a town of 2000. It was in need of refrigeration, electricity, clean water, and most importantly, medications. Malaria is a major problem in this area. These medications are very expensive for the Ugandan’s, but reasonable by American standards. The goal of this CD is to raise money to help purchase anti-malarial medicines for this health clinic. As Jesus said in Matthew 25, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
They want this CD to benefit the patients of the Nuymbarie Clinic but we also to be advantageous to the artists on it as well. Therefore they have designed a complete marketing plan for the CD. “Unified By Grace” will be marketed and made available in the following ways:

1. PHYSICAL SALES: I will receive 50 copies of the CD. These will be professionally produced, retail ready CD’s. The idea is that when each artist sells their 50 copies, the other artists on the CD will have their music exposed to other fans of your genre of music. My song will be exposed to many new listeners.
2. DIGITAL SALES: The compilation will be made available for sale in all digital stores including iTunes, Rhapsody, Wal-Mart, Napster, and Amazon. My song will also be available as a ringtone that my fans may purchase.
3. EXPOSURE: The CD will be sent to record labels, marketing, and management firms. Along with the CD, a booklet featuring my picture and bio will be made available so they can learn a little bit more about me. In addition, free promo copies will be handed out at concerts in the Baltimore/Washington area. Quickstar Productions will also promote the album through the use of MySpace.
4. RADIO: The CD will be sent to college and internet radio stations and be featured on various podcasts throughout the world.
