oh yeah the summer has come and it looks like we'll be spending about half of it sleeping outside which is my idea of a very good time...just going home from a week out east in tennessee teaching at kaufman's kamp, 100 flatpickers and a few of us old time banjo players, but working hard and playing hard and loving those eastern woods and the heat and the warm summer nights - one of the few things down about california...never warm at night. and yet, we went into the woods in elkmont, tn and saw the millions of fireflies all blinking together. cosmic!!
