I yelled from atop the great ships mast,

I am sober and free Praise God, at last

With the Lord as my captain and I His first mate,

We'll sail the seas to love and not hate

Where once I felt anger, sorry, and strife,

Nothing can harm me, I have eternal life.

My guard and protection, is my love sword,

Helping others each day imitating our Lord.

I yelled once again from atop the mast,

I am sober and free, Thank you Lord, at last.

I will bring others the message at every port of sea,

Your message has sailed from the land of Galilee.

Once I was hopeless, a pitiful cracked man,

The Holy Spirit has lifted both my hands,

Praise Jesus, I love you with all my heart,

I feel at peace, love, and joy is how it starts.

Through any wave or storm we will sail,

Showing all our critics, that we will not fail

We sail on every day, bringing others on board

Our ship will never sink, Our Captain is the Lord.

Open up your hearts, and sing His praise,

Hook up His flag, let it raise,

There are clear skies for all of us, up ahead,

Our lives no longer filled with sadness, and dread.

Let the Holy Spirit fill our sails with His breeze,

Sit back and relax, He pilots us with such ease,

Trust in Him each and every day,

He is the light, the truth, and the way.
