I'm just about to nod off here in the La Quinta hotel in Tuscaloosa while The Office plays on the tube.  I've been able to watch a ton I've never seen before!  I had dinner from Chilli's which was actually quite good.  Went with the tilapia and in true road trip style I had cheesecake for dessert.

Seriously, I texted my friend Ben who I was suppose to stay with tonight & tomorrow about how I've just been treated so well by so many of the folks I have met along this trip and how American strangers can be so helpful and kind.  Today I had to pull off 59 to get two rear tires.  Guess what?!  One of the men helping was from Westland Michigan.  I swear something "mitten" like is in the air. 

I'm hoping to score some big sleep tonight so I'm keeping it brief.
