Fox News Search Continues For Michael 'Austin' Davis

this up to date from saturday's search which I will copy his father's mass thank you below.

HELP FIND MICHAEL AUSTIN DAVIS

Again the dogs on Sunday were active in that same area. This was a fresh set of dogs that weren't exhausted and they were active, so we are asking anyone that has metal detectors to please help us to borrow or search on this upcoming Saturday.

Thank you.

This from Austin's mom. I am asking anyone that has metal detectors we can borrow or you would come out and help this family this upcoming saturday to please make contact: Thanks

"Sundays search confirmed that same triangular area as a hot zone area. The
fresh dog teams brought into that area on Sunday had not been there before, so
weren't influenced by anything, and they scented on the same area.

Of course we went back to the woods and searched, but without finding anything.

Next step, next Saturday we are going to go back, and we'll ask anyone that has
access to a metal detector to bring it, ......"

HELP FIND MICHAEL AUSTIN DAVIS

17 November 2007

From: Jim Davis - Austin’s Dad

Subject: McGirts Creek Park Search Results

1. We truly brought an “army” together in a matter of hours and our efforts were superb! Through the love, kindness and dedication of many, the probability of the worse case scenario diminished and my confidence in the expectation of finding Austin alive increased. This is the hope that your efforts have given me today. Thank you. I feel like your efforts continue to deliver God’s grace and faith and ensure my hope. Your love is exceedingly great and continues to prop our family up.

2. Again today, I was overwhelmed by the professionalism, dedication, hard work and caring spirit of the Polly Klass Foundation K-9 Search and Rescue team offered in the true hope to help a family in crisis. I witnessed these families celebrate their children’s birthday in a make-shift commander center as their parents and pets searched for Austin. Words can not express our gratitude for their selflessness and compassion. Pat, please extend our love and appreciation to y our entire team. We are truly grateful.

3. With the gravest tasking and greatest hope, many wonderful people trudged through acres of briar and brush again today. Your gracious and tireless commitments to find Austin sustain our hope and reinforces my faith that Austin is still alive and will be found soon. Thank you to the faithful who have never missed a search. Much gratitude to those of you who just joined our quest to find Austin. Your devoted efforts today revived our optimism and reinforced our understanding that we are not in this alone. Thank you all.

4. As our searched produced no information or evidence to the contrary, with the help of our community and the greater public, I believe Austin will be located soon. Please continue your efforts to make the public aware of Austin’s disappearance. We received excellent news coverage of the search today from CBS 47 and FOX 30 news this evening. http://www.cbs47.com/content/topstories/story.aspx?content_id=a1034f9e-ef96-41d9-992e-dbe5ccdb0cc6 America’s Most Wanted will run Austin’s story in December in a special segment called “Voices of the Missing”. I believe with the help of the media, Austin’s story will reach someone who knows of his whereabouts and out of care or compassion, will lead us to him. Keep the faith. Spead the word. Post flyers.

5. We will resume the search again this morning (Sunday, November 18) with the help of the K-9 teams who helped today and a another blood hound team from Ft. Lauderdale. I expect we will have a dozen foot searchers return to support the K-9 teams in searching specific areas of interest. We intend to to begin the search at 8:00AM.

6. Thanks and God bless each of you.

Faith,

Jim Davis (Austin’s Dad)
