How about that win over the Eagles!! That Eagles defense is still an
aggressive defense, but the Cowboys were able to overcome that and pull
out a hard fought victory, 20-16!
I believe the Eagles are still a very good football team and the
Cowboys may have finally proven they can beat a quality team. They came
in confident, and they played their hearts out against a division rival
and now sit atop the NFC East.
I was impressed with the Cowboys defense preventing the Eagles the
chance for big plays they have been winning with. Only big play was a
screen pass to LeSean McCoy for 45 yards. No pass plays over 50 yards.
The Cowboys offense was led by Roy Williams with five receptions for 75
yards and Jason Witten with seven receptions for 43 yards. But the big
play was Miles Austin's single reception for 49 yards for a game
clinching touchdown.
Tony Romo went 21/34 with 307 yards with one touchdown and one
interception. Played a good game against a very aggressive defense.
This game was a hard fought game and the Cowboys came out on top. This
team has a new attitude and it is showing on the field. I was down
about this team as with any fan of the Cowboys when they were
inconsistent, but they have shown me that they are working hard to put
them in a good position at the end of the season.
They still have a way to go, but they are on their way if they keep
playing like this! Cowboys fans, it is time to back this team all the
way!!
GO COWBOYS!!
