Enough of this gas tax holiday nonsense. When I am president, I will triple the Federal gas tax. But to make it easier for workers and farmers, I will let them (and everyone else) buy the first 100 gallons a month with no tax whatsoever. The state departments of motor vehicles will send every registered car owner a card in the beginning of a month. It will look like a credit card. When you swipe it, the first 100 gallons are tax free. After that, you pay. It will reduce the gas consumption while rewarding the responsible driver.
