I'm a dreamer.

I wish on stars.

Every now and then, I find myself sitting and wondering... wondering when my dream will become a reality... when my wish-on-a-star will come true.

Some dreams do come true.  When they do, you kinda either jump for joy or sit there and go, "Well, here I am... now what?"  Time to make more wishes and dream more dreams!

Oftentimes, I forget that dreams and wishes don't always "just come true".  There are journeys to venture through to reach them.  Some of these journeys may not get you to the exact dream you had in your heart.  Other journeys break off and lead you to a totally different world altogether.

Sometimes, the bigger the dream, the more "forks in the road" you encounter.  You have to choose one and hope that it will lead you to where you want to go.  Some of those roads have "off ramps" that can take you back to the road you were on before... others don't offer that option and you have to just go along for the ride.

It's nice when you realize that you "are there" and that the goal has been reached.  But y'know, sometimes reaching another destination may not be as horrible as you imagined.

The main thing is to know where you're going and to enjoy everything, every step of the way.  Where you get to has a lot to do with what you learn and absorb along the way.  Even though the final stop may not be picture-perfect, the journey itself may have made you a much better person than you'd be if you got to your dream via a different route.
