These are in no particular order. Just recommendations of 10 5 star songs in my iTunes playlist. They all have great memories attached to them. If you don't have these songs, get them. That is all. 1) Laurent Garnier - Acid Eiffel (I played the fuck out of this track while on tour in Paris. Gee, I wonder why? Deeper than Madonna, this is) 2) A Perfect Circle - The Noose (Look up beautiful in the dictionary. Here you will find a picture of this song. The progression is brilliant) 3) Radiohead - Everything In It's Right Place (No need to go into detail on this one)? 4) Tool - The Grudge (Fucking flawless) 5) Squarepusher - Tundra 4 (A programmer's hard on in a 12-minute session) 6) Red Snapper - They're Hangin Me Tonight (The title speaks volumes about the violin) 7) Plaid - Ralome (My wife and I used this song as our first dance at our wedding three weeks ago. That's gotta be a first. Plaid for your first dance. This song will always have a special place in my heart) 8) DJ Shadow - What Does Your Soul Look Like Pt. 1 (I first heard this track, while trying to sleep in my dorm room my freshman year of college; 1999. It was so beautiful that I could not sleep. I literally sat up, listened to it and my jaw dropped. So I listened to it a few more times. Then I kind of laid back in bed and took a while to finally get back to sleep. Top notch). 9) Underworld - Born Slippy (This song basically got me into electronic music. Enough said). 10) Tortoise - I Set My Face To The Hillside (One of the greatest blend of genres that I've ever heard in my life).

That's a good looking recommendation list, I must say.  You picked my favorite Lateralus track, favorite Kid A track, and one of my favorite Thirteenth Step tracks, love the halo noose metaphor in that lyric.  I just realized I haven't even heard Tundra 4 yet... sweet!  I get to listen to something new and awesome garunteed so long as I'm not in some freak accident before it finishes downloading.  I thought Venus No. 4 and its remix were both pretty good, though not standout Squarepusher tracks for me.  Listening to Tundra now.  Mmm, yeah, that's acidic.  I just really love what he's done with the synths in this one.  Tasty!  And the drum programming is off course off the hook... and that's an understatement.  Damnit, it's almost 5AM and now I want to start a new drill track!  In other words, great recommendation --thanx!

Hell yeah.

"The Noose" is a great track.

"Everything in its Right Place" is the best way to enter that phase for Radiohead.  I would also have to nominate the transition from "Optimistic" to "In Limbo" as a highlight for me.

May I add SURRIPERE from ae?
