We wanted to let anyone and everyone who enjoys our music know that we will be taking a break from playing shows over the summer. Unfortunately, we didn't think about the negative repercussions of playing any show, any time, and now we're a little burnt out. But it works out for the best, because this gives us time to prepare for an even more epic return in August. 

Jess will be holding it down in Austin for the summer keeping herself busy with swimming, playing, and other general summer activities. She may even take a trip to Mexico to work on a bean farm! I'm sure those beans will influence her piano playing.

Kevin will also be in Austin, keeping Jess company no doubt. Kevin also has many activities planned with Lou Dobbs, including fetch, wrestle, and snuggle. He may even get a new tattoo. I've heard about it. Sounds like it could be his new best. More to come.

Matt is going to head down to Peru for a couple week for some mission work. He'll be spreading the good word of St. Edward's Campus Ministry. He'll also be selling CDs and shirts to all our Peruvian fans. Then it's off to Wisconsin to write new material. This is something we're all excited about, and will get to work filling them out upon his return. 

I'll be in India doing the exact same thing as Matt, but will also have the split 7" w/ News on the March for sale for our Indian fans. Then I'm going home to live in Houston for the summer, where I will no doubt swim with Sarah and Penny everyday until I become a fish. 

So come August we will return with new songs, a fresh outlook on music, and a familiar goofy bass player. But that sure doesn't mean you've seen the last of Kevin. As long as we have anything to do with it.
