Current mood:  ashamed

I  Made an attempt  to write a really witty blog and accidentally deleted the whole thing trying to paste in a link. In short I'm fucking fuming and really want some lunch so I'll keep it brief.

First of all a big thanks to everybody who made the album launch such an enjoyable night. Big up to Molloy, Nath, Jerry, Jack and Cian
Next our sporadic clubnight STABOKKi! returns in a new home at The Wilmington Arms, Exmouth Market on December 4th, It's a crackin venue 5 mins walk from Angel tube and we've a grat night lined up

Kicking off proceedings from the mystical land of Scotland will be folk sensation Stars of Sunday League. Think immaculately crafted songs both  melodic and poetic sounding somewhere near early Simon & Garfunkel and you're getting close. Truly a cracking singer songwriter

Next up the three headed wild beast that is Semaphore. If you don't know and love us already have a gander at what Organ Magazine had to say about our brand new cd here : http://www.organart.demon.co.uk/neworgan281.htm

Headlining will be Island Line who'll also be using the occasion to launch their brand spanking new single!!!!!!  Imagine yourself in one of those kodachrome 60s super 8 films where the light always seems to be bleeding through the trees. You're drinking wine smoking spliff and in love. Everything is new. The soundtrack is a voice somewhere between Cat Power and Joni Mitchell with jangly guitars and melodian, maybe a tambourine. The soundtrack is most likely to be Island Line. Believe me these guys are that cool but you'll have to decide for yourself so be there : The Wilmington Arms, Roseberry Avenue EC1 December 4th 8pm, did i mention it's only £3!!!

'till next time keep yer head above the waves, Louis x
