In fairness, you didn't have any ears, either, so not being able to hear the music you were composing may have been a problem. Couple this to the fact that, presumably, you couldn't 'lend a hand' to the production of the music, I feel your exclusion was probably justified.

Although they admired your ethos: "I'd give an arm and a leg to be in this band", Lennon, being the kind and merciful man that he was, decided it would be better to allow you the everyday freedom of access that having legs allows, and decided to kick you out of the band. That's what I read in Mojo, anyway.
