We are pleased to announce the signing of the Black-Folk metal band GALAR.  The band, hailing from Bergen, Norway, is currently working on a new album, which is scheduled for release in early 2010.  “Til Alle Heimsens Endar” will be GALAR’s sophomore album, and the follow up to “Skogskvad”, which was released in 2007 to critical acclaim.  

GALAR stands out from the mass of synthesizer-riddled music that nowadays tends to proliferate within the symphonic extreme metal genre.  GALAR’s use of a wide range of acoustic instruments such as bassoon, grand piano, double bass, cello, viola and violin, combined with blast beats and grim vocals, gives the band an original sound all of its own.
