I was reading on Lethalville as I do most days, and I came across a post by Mac Lethal. It was in a Q & A thread, and someone asked something to the effect of:
'What's worse: Fear or Laziness'
to which his reply was:
'Laziness is born out of fear.'
That, my friends, is the story of 2008 for me.
So, I guess this blog post is me admitting that I was lazy, and afraid. I'd like to say I got busier and this happened and that happened, but it's not entirely true. Anyway, I don't think dwelling on the subject will do anything good for anyone. The truth is I was lazy and I've ignored spoken word, music, and a lot of people. I'm hoping to put a change to that, soon.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- An EP by the end of the year
- New tracks within the next 4 weeks
- New poems up within the next 2 weeks
- Regular blogging
- Regular interacting with other humans
- More shows
The whole EP is written, I just need to record it and hopefully get the lovely Genemichael to lay some heaven on it.
