LEGACY OF BRUTALITY will launch this month his first job with Ralm Records, after canceling his part in the project with KTC Domestic Productions. Legacy Of Brutality wans to clarify to all our friends, fans and other interested people what really happened with the release of our first job, especially now that KTC has announced the release of the cd in October 12th.
The idea of editing our work with them started to take shape in January this year, handing the master in mid-February to them. The deal was that the Pub Noise and KTC would support the group economically, having the right to acquire 50 copies each, out of the 500 we intented to launch. From that moment onwards, the issue dragged on incomprehensibly until September, when the band decided to cancel the Project. We must honestly say that KTC is a serious label that works well and defends its groups in remarcable way, but in our case has not been like that.
Following our decision, KTC fully understands our reasons for cancelling the project, but we were warned that it was impossible to cancel the order with the factory, and that they will continue with their part of the agreement, selling 50 copies of our work each.We also have to mention that KTC, absolutely free delivers 50 copies to us for all the trouble caused to the group, copies that are already in our possession. At this point we feel obliged to thank the Pub Noise (Jaime and Patri) for all the effort and support from the beginning, and especially during the hard times of uncertainty that the group lived. They were the first to bet for us. Therefore, we want to show them our appreciation and everlasting gratitude for their friendship. ¡Suerte y fuerza! When we permanently broke with the project, our first instantly decision was to re-record completely all the guitars and voices from the mini cd, leaving the bass & drums originally recorded last year. Our intention was both to include new parts and arrangements to the themes, and that the sound were as loud and clear as possible according to our means. We will also like to highlight the excellent work of Brian Elliott in the first mix. It would have been a pleasure to have him mixing it again, but now time and money urged us on.
Finally the new edition will be ready to be released around the third week of October with Ralm Records, a label to which we infinitely thank its interest, support and the facilities offered to the recording of the new work. This new work include a bonus track, a more extended blokklet with new drawings by Abel Suárez (Veiga Ink), and a slipcase wrapping the MCD. The MCD will cost six euros.
We believe that this explanantion was required, since in this month two editions of the same cd will gon on sale. Both editions represent us and are one as legitimate as the other.
We expect you to continue supporting and enjoying extreme music!!!
