I am posting this because I keep getting asked the same question and I figure I will save you the time writing me the e-mail to ask me..

Yes it is true.. I am taking over the role of Shawn Brady on "Days of our Lives"
I am really excited and I know I have really big shoes to fill.. Jason Cook has done a great job developing the character and I feel very blessed to be able to take over for him. He is very talented and I am sure we will all be seeing a lot more of him in other show and films in the future.

I thank all of you out there that will continue to support the show and support me in this transition.. You are all great..

even though i'm loathe to admit i actually watch a soap opera, i actually have a good reason. my mom watched it the whole time i was growing up so now i tune in every now and then to "catch up".

i've always really liked the actor who played Shawn Brady before but i wanted to tell you that you've made a nearly seamless transition. you're actually very good as Shawn. you two even have the same inflections in your tone of voice. it's actually a bit... comforting? i don't know how to say what i'm trying to say.

usually when one actor is replaced by another actor (in soaps or other television shows or in sequels to movies) it can be very jarring and take time to adjust to the new actor. i haven't had that trouble with you at all.

so, long story short - good job.

So, I've been watching Days whenever I'm home at that time.  I've been meaning to write and say congratulations and that I'm proud of you.  It's a little hard to watch though, because there are so many other story lines that I have no idea what's going on, and then you're on for like 4 minutes, and then I have to watch 20 more minutes before you're on again.  But it's cool.  You should be proud.  And by the way, Suits On The Loose might be the best Mormon movie ever made...

Remember me, I bought your Honda Accord back in high school.  I have been watching Days of Our Lives since I was 5 and can't believe you are on it.  You are doing wonderful by the way.  Usually I hate it when they get new charachters!  Keep up the good work and hopefully you will get together with Belle soon.

I have been watching Days of Our Lives since I could walk and I honestly can say I never thought anyone can take Jason Cook's place but you blew me away and still do. You are an unbelievable actor and not to mention you are damn good-looking. I enjoy watching you the most. The Shawn and Belle story line is great and you bring intensity and passion to the character. If you are ever in Westchester County, NY please feel free to look me up.
