1) He acts SO excited when I come home after he's been alone all day. His whole butt wags and he runs around, crouching, jumping, whining, panting...Then he grabs one of his toys and growls, challenging me to play with him. It's just adorable. 2) I'm never alone in the house when I'm out of work. He's always there for me to come over and pet and feel better. 3) Sometimes he comes up and goes to sleep with me while I'm deep asleep, so that when I wake up I can feel him curled up against the crook of my knees or against my foot. 4) He never smells bad, even though we don't give him baths very often. 5) Speaking of baths, he looks really funny in a sad doggie sort of way when he's getting a bath. 6) His eyes are big, brown, and soulful. 7) He does his best to protect the house by barking and growling at people who come to the door, but he ends up giving them a warm friendly greeting once he gets to them. 8) He loves everyone, and everyone loves him. It makes me happy to see him making someone else happy. 9) He has a spattering of freckles on his snout. Never ceases to be charming. 10) He got neutered too late, and so he pees on everything on our walks. Even when he has long since run out of pee. It's funny.
