College Prep (3-4)

College is looming, do you know where you are going, what you are going to study, how you are going to pay for it … and what you are going to do with your life?

Well, maybe it is time to figure it out. Come join us weekly as we will work on college essays, applications, search out scholarships and examine the differences between local and national colleges and universities.

This isn't some daycare, Tuesday afternoon, get here on your own leisure, Rocketown class… this is your life. What do you want to do?

Music Appreciation: School of Rock (3-4 p.m.)

Do you love to make good music? Well, maybe it is time you learned what makes great music!

Learn from best instructors imaginable: The Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones along with today's current rock, punk and pop heavy hitters. By the end, not only will you know what makes a great song but we will also teach you how to write your next great wonder.

Tutoring with Leigh (3-5)

Come get smart.

Leigh is a super smart and way personable High School Junior from Brentwood. She loves Rocketown for the music but wants an opportunity to give back. Whether you are looking for homework help, one-on-one tutoring, or just someone to draw smiling faces on your assignments, Leigh is your gal.

She also loves, loves, loves Spanish. So get your español on.

Screenprinting (5-6)

Tired of plain American Apparel shirts? What something to spice up that grey hoodie? Or maybe you want to start designing your own posters? It is time to start thinking screenprinting.

Screenprinting is a printing technique that uses ink blocking stencils and squeegees to transfer ink onto canvases, clothing and stickers. With it you can design your own t-shirts, posters, or whatever else you want to implant an image onto. So come join us, test out your artistic side, and see what you can create.

Rhyme Lab: Beginner (5-7)

Come learn to rap, rhyme, record and perform.

Rhyme lab is an interactive creative experience that allows kids to express their ideas through song and rap. The class will teach both the lyrical and technical skills of hip-hop and rap music while allowing teens to record tracks and present a final performance.

Girls Group (6-8)

Meets every other Tuesday. Next meeting: Oct 14

Think getting coffee, picnics in the park, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and then talking about it. It is about making connections, being honest and listening to each other.

You know girls doing girlie stuff.

Bible Study (6-7)

Meets every other Tuesday. Next meeting: October 7

This is an open space; a transparent community; a group of individuals trying to piece together the day-to-day. It is a place to talk about your faith, our lives and how it all connects. It is where we listen, love and speak of grace. There is no preaching. Just individuals praying for each other. Some weeks we actually open the Bible.

Skate Church (7:30-9:00)

We skate, talk a little Bible, play some games and skate some more.

Everything is free.

Enough said. Get to church.
