Steel Magnolias will be joined on stage by the highly recognizable voice of one
of the area’s best known radio personalities.

Wayne Winkler, longtime
on-air personality and Station Manager of WETS-FM 89.5 will be the voice of the
DJ heard on ....Shelby....’s
radio in Truvy’s shop throughout the performance. For over 30 years, Mr.
Winkler has been a familiar voice of WETS.

The cast and crew of Steel
Magnolias is excited and thrilled by Mr. Winkler’s participation and they
encourage everyone to plan on enjoying the performances while helping MEOC
reach their Emergency Fuel Fund fundraising goals.....

Performances will be at 3pm
on Saturday and Sunday August 8th and 9th, with the final
performance at 3pm on August 16th.
Advance sale general admission tickets are only $10 for adults and $8
for seniors and students. Advance sale
tickets are available from MEOC drivers, MEOC offices in Big Stone Gap, The
Post and Powell Valley News. Tickets will be available at the door for $12
general admission adult and $10 students and seniors.
