Bumped up! This past week was a really fun one. I put Bobi and my song, Faith Like Peter, onto the IndieHeaven charts, not really even understanding how that thing works, and over the week I got bumped from the bottom of the list to the top 10... which, I guess, qualifies me to be on their Power Praise Radio disc of the Top 10 INDIE-Artists. We'll see what happens. It is fun to connect with new people who identify with the music God has given me, and also with my buddies who have been adamantly voting each day.
This morning I stayed at 10-- the first time not to move up in the charts, but the higher you get, the harder the competition. Some friends and fans e-mailed me to say they were staying on it and spreading the news. How can I not grin at that kind a love?
Been working on a new set for an acoustic, more organic, album. I'm loving what is occurring already and am eager to get started. I've got three ballad type songs, and this album is definitely more just life and God in the common day sort of theme.
