It has been so long since California has gotten some serious Gomez live show action in part because Gomez are still in the process of working on their new record. To help get through the wait, we are pleased to announce IAN BALL's return to Northern California for a couple special shows in Octoberwith his full solo band as well as special guest, BUDDY.


Anyone who has seen Ian Ball play live knows they can expect a grab-bag of musical wizardry that will leave them wanting more. Sprinkled into his set of solo material and stripped-down arrangements of Gomez songs, one may also find a raucous cover of anyone from Supertramp to Wilco. In addition to this you can expect to hear some of the new material in progress.


As for Buddy, this Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter had a following before he ever had a record. By the time he and the band known as Buddy released Alterations and Repairs last fall, they had songs featured on television shows like Grey's Anatomy and were packing in standing room-only shows in L.A.


Buddy's stunning musicianship and gorgeously lush arrangements will make you want to wrap their music around you like a blanket. Sometimes heart-breakingly raw and fragile, Buddy's lyrics and vocals also have a soothing and empowering quality that make Alterations and Repairs more poignant with every listen. Buddy's live show draws out the edge and grit of their seemingly gentle sound and takes their music to a new level. "May we rock you gently?" they ask.
