Ok. So in a sentence it was a learning experience. I upped my game in drawing comics, I met a great bunch of starving artists, & I learned what I need to do for future conventions.

I have officially found a hobby, mind you in drawing the comic book characters I still can get my word out about Area 51. My first day I watched as everyone walked past my table, I got a few oh thats cool..but no one stopped. My two bookend table artists were getting lots of interest. Why you ask? They were drawing cards hand drawn comic cards.

I thought I had prepared for every aspect but I missed the biggest credo...play to your audience. The next day I sat down & drew a cat woman I had found on a the interweb, she is covered in white paint that looks like milk. I wasn't even finished & I looked up & someone said how much that caught my eye. $$$ sold even though it needed serious touchup. So the next night I went home & sketched 5 large comic book characters  some I heard people ask for, Deadpool, & Pheonix..& the others just because I thought the original picture rocked !

I should have them all up by the weekend. B/W to begin then color me photoshop. (as Deadpool is on the profile) Also I will be loading the rest of the convention pics. You can tell which ones are mine because of the blurry. Current count is 70+ but I have to shrink the file size to download quickly.

I will be doing Heroes again next year if they'll have me. but in the mean time I have decided to try & do some smaller shows & may even take a small vacation in 2010 to San Diego or New York whichever. Thanks for everyone who stopped by the table..it was nice to meet you.
