I have met Rachel only once in Really Truly Life, and it was on our last day in sunny WA. But we both confessed, part blushing, part deviously, that we had seen each other on MySpace and recognised each other from there. We had a good old laugh about the dorkiness of meeting people through MySpace. Then we mutually decided to embrace the dorkiness and add each other as friends. And now we ARE friends--nifty!
Rachel is a Cool and Wonderful Person for many reasons. Here are just a few:
1) She is a Christian. Yesss!
2) She has written an amazingly thought-provoking bunch of thoughts in her "About Me" section
3) She is mature beyond her years; I wish I had been that grown-up at age 15.
4) She lives in Western Australia's most awesome town
5) She's been to Singapore. Oh my!
6) She has GORGEOUS hair.
7) She wants to meet the amazing Colonel Sanders, founder of the one and only KFC. When you meet him, Rach, can you get his autograph for me? Better yet, can you bring me back some free samples? ::eyebrow raise::
8) She thinks I'm funny, which guarantees her a listing in the esteemed Hall of Danielle's Friends of Greatness.
Now you all want to meet her, too, don't you?
