Greensboro, N.C. (July 15, 2009) Reasons 2 Rhyme will host the second MoSoul Poetry Festival of the three part series that will feature 30 poets by the end of the summer.

The MoSoul Poetry Festival is going to be held on July 24-25 and will feature 10 poets from Greensboro, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, and Atlanta, Ga. The MoSoul Poetry Festival is a two day festival that integrates five events that will begin on Friday, July 24. The first two events are the community outreach programs that Reasons 2 Rhyme has coordinated with the local recreation centers: Leonard, Lewis, Trotter and Folk as well as Vance Chavis Branch Library for the poets to perform for children. Later on that evening, the poets will perform at the Cultural Arts Center at midnight for a special blend of late night poetry.

On Saturday, July 25, the main event of the MoSoul Poetry Festival will take place at Festival Park, in Downtown Greensboro from 3pm to 7pm. There will be live music and vendors and all ages are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets for an afternoon of spoken word. The final event of the festival is an after party that will take place at Triad Stage to conclude the weekend.
