BREATHLESS... Is

Heavy breathing of your own
Without abusing the telephone.

Self - Inflicted by chain smoking
Whilst Asthmatics go on choking.

Breathing ragged.. Getting Rougher
Time too suck deeply on your puffer.

Popping Steroids... every single day
Trying to keep... infections at bay.

Making Love... You need to rest
Collapsing heavily... on her breast.

High pitched wheeze.. like a violin
Those clogged 'air-way's - all done-in.

Pulsating... jagging stabbing pain
Driving you.. Bloody near insane.

Exercises are confined to the mind
They are now the only available kind.

Putrid lungs... full of clotted phlegm
Cough.. 'hack it up' - and start again.

Difficult.. so hard to breath at night
Long pitch black hours... full of fright.

hi...thanks

really appreciate you 'stopping by' and reading - commenting

it must be tough for you

my brother died of Phenomena when i was small
my younger brother escaped asthma but hd awful exama - he still gets really bad hay-fever

both my parents had bronchitis so i got that has well

its really hard has our own climate gets wetter and warmer - bug breading weather
i find i am not strong enough to fight of the infections

i was appalled to read last week that we have the least amount of specialists - both Dr's and Clinics than anywhere else in Europe.

thanks again
your art work is wonderful - more time needs to be spent - just looking
your talent shines through

It really brings home what your going through John. I have asthma and I know when I have an attack how awful it can be. I pray that you will be healed. You go through so much but still keep going. I admire you on how you can go on.

I am grateful for your post

I do know you suffer and you are often in my prayers

It - was tongue in cheek

I try to make light of it
but it ends up more serious more detaled than i planned

i must get off the 'health kick' and try to write more positively

best wishes

sorry - i must make you an emotional wreck

it did start of light-heartedly - then the list got longer and less funny
but - it concentrated my mind - slowed my breathing

but i must get over this 'heath-kick' topics..........and move on

GOD BLESS

well John, i think sometimes
we all need to take a light
hearted view of these things :)

many take breathing way too
much for granted, for me it
is just a matter of when i will
stop breathing altogether one
night due to sleep apnea

enjoyed reading !
