.. ..

The morning after a show with Cartel and This Providence us Vegas Boys Had a 38 hour drive to Seattle Washington. Everyone had their last minute stuff to take care of so we didn’t end up leaving until mid-day on Wednesday. I called dibs for the first driver so I could get my driving out of the way with Nick as the co-pilot. After many stops for gas, about 10 16 ounce red bulls, 5 states, and tons of music from TBS, AVA, the Audition, and many more, I had made it 17 hours into the 38 hour trip. At this point I was so bored with the road I was going NUTS so I threw in the towel and tagged Steve in.  Steve drove for around 12 hours, which I was sleep for most of. But somewhere in those 12 hours way too much Connor Oberst/ Bright Eyes was played, and we had a bit of car trouble.  After getting some help from some dudes, we were back on the road. About 7 and a half hours later we randomly saw the same dudes in a completely different state. Shady.  Nick drove for about 5 or 6 hours blasting Creed and tried to explain to the rest of us why they were the best band ever. We still don’t get it. With Around 5 hours left of the drive I took over again and drove the rest of the distance. During that drive we stopped at sonic where Steve bought a new sonic shirt and spilled his blue coconut slush all over the van! I finished the drive listening to Brand New and Circa Survive by driving through some never ending forest and an hour of Seattle traffic.

Once we were in the studio Casey showed us around and we got comfortable, maybe too comfortable.  After we all ate some "quality" ravi and ramen, nick and Aaron started setting up drums to record in the morning and Steve and I watched the Proposal. Welp now that I've relaxed for a bit time to go work on some bass licks. WE ARE SOOOO EXCITED TO START WORKING TOMORROW!!!!!

More updates soon, Ron + Whiv

Ron, your music choice sounds like it was the best out of all of that. Ahah.
Although Bright Eyes is good, I agree, it must be taken in small doses.

Good luck, guys. ;D
