Bonjour,

Je tenais à vous présenter Larry Porter, un grand pianiste de jazz, joueur de rebab (instrument Afghan) et compositeur.
J'ai découvert sa musique et son oeuvre en parcourant myspace, c'est un musicien qui m'a énormément touché musicalement.

En lisant sa biographie sur son site personnel j'ai appris qu'il avait joué et travaillé avec de formidables musiciens de jazz américains comme Chet Baker, Airto Moreira, Thad Jones, ou Sheila Jordan et qu'il avait parcouru le monde et intégré les musiques d'autres pays à son jeu pianistique.
De plus ses compositions sont d'une grande originalité et captivantes.

Hello,

I wanted to present you Larry Porter, a great jazz pianist, rebab player and composer.
I discovered his music and his works by surfing on myspace, he is a musician that have really touched me musically.

Reading his biography on his personal site I've learned that he had played and worked with some great jazz musicians like Chet Baker, Airto Moreira, Thad Jones, ou Sheila Jordan and that he had travelled around the world and integrated the music of other countries in his piano playing.
Furthermore  his compositions are very original and enthralling.
