I am loving the chance to hear musicians from all over the world, and to let them know what I think of the music, but, I agree with some friends I've spent time with the past few days - nothing beats the experience of hearing the music live.

Last night I heard a local Celtic band, The Border Collies, join forces with an Andean band, Vientos Del Pueblo, and it was a fantastic time. I am putting a video together on The Border Collies, which I will share soon, and I hope to have a similar chance with the VdelP in the future, so you can hear a bit of what I heard. But - live - that's the magic.

I have gotten a chance to hear a fair number of the friends I have here play live. I hope to have the chance to hear more of you over time. Until then, here's to everyone who comes out to hear us, here's to everyone we go out to hear: nothing beats the presence of the people and the music together, Slainte!
