So here we are, it's the last week of the tour & we've been traveling all over the country over the last few days & I have to say I'm starting to feel it. The days just blend into one another & I have no idea what day it is most of the time, I love it! For example we drove to our gig in Glastonbury that took five hours, did the gig with Janette Geri (the first time we caught up since she arrived) & then the next day (Monday) drove back to Wales via Stonehenge which took about 12 hours due to heavy traffic. The next day (Tuesday) we had a gig in Shrewsbury, only about an hour away thankfully. On Wednesday we had a spare day but ran around getting ready for the next gig & road trip. On Thursday we parted ways with Janette & drove about 6 hours to Peebles in Scotland where we stayed in a B&B on the estate of Stobo Castle. The gig on Friday night in the Eastgate Theatre went well, very rock star, with our own dressing room & shower that we took advantage of. They're not big on showers here, it's all baths. We've hired a car this week for the last 3 gigs & to transport the gear up north for the final time before heading to London & Heathrow. Soooooooooooo really only a week & a bit to go. Haven't wanted to come back & could have had more gigs if I'd wanted them but one has to keep paying the mortgage in the meantime. I know as soon as I get back to Australia I'm going to be working on ways to return here for a 2nd tour. There are so many more opportunities here for musicians & a great deal more respect for Artists & what we do.
