Like a European Union of ex-buskers, 747s honed their sound on the streets of Liverpool, Naples and Dublin.
They also make our office have a full-blown ruckus over whether you pronounce jumbo jets as "seven-four-sevens" or "seven-forty-sevens".
When we stopped squabbling, we actually loved this album. Sounding like a cross between Modern Life-era Blur, Supergrass and the Bugsy Malone soundtrack, it's heavy on hooks (witness Night & Day and Nature's Alibi) and light on fillers.
