Afternoon all,
it's  been a while so just thought I would update you on recent goings-on:
We're in the middle of a stretch of acoustic shows that so far have been at the least, interesting and, in last night's case, extremely pleasing.
The next is at one of our local pubs in Blackheath, O'Neills, this coming Sunday afternoon.
Last night's set-list ran as follows:

1/ The Path to the Silent Country
2/ Time Is the Teacher That Kills Its' Students
3/ Hymns And Sunglasses
4/ Dexy Says
5/ The Replacements
6/ Atlantic City

So yeah, all brand new stuff and a cover that got me so nervous I forgot or misplaced the words on three seperate occasions! It really was a blast though, and a truly satisfying experience to get all that new music out there in the world then get drunk with our friends in the garden.
We woulda played a couple more but broken strings and time restrictions got the better of us.
Expect at least another two or three new titles to be thrown into the sets in coming weeks along with more, yes, that's it, Goofy Covers (c).
In other news we have some new recordings knocking about. Two brand new tunes are on the interweb and you'll find 'em if you look hard enough or think laterally;
Another will be used as part of a forthcoming 'Love Music Hate Racism' compilation which will be out soon, but you'll have to buy it to get the track as it won't be available anywhere else for some time to come.
Enough waffle.
As a fellow professional Welshman Roy Noble used to say:

as i can't make it to support / heckle, i shall leave you with these little drunken soundbites so you can pretend i'm there...

"Play a goofy cover...!"

"Which one's Nebraska?"

"We're Soul Asylum from Minneapolis and we do a wicked backflip..."

"And the Red Hot Chili Peppers... we've seen enough of ya cocks!"

take ya pick... ; )
