	Olivia Greene	Living as a professional musician, nurturing creative energy, dealing with touring and other obligations has much more to it than the "glamour" one sees.  There are stresses and challenges not apparent to most people.  Achieving a healthy balance on the razor edge of fickle fame is even more difficult for a young woman than for one of more maturity - and that ain't easy either!  It upsets me to see people turn on Amy (or anyone) when she's down.  It displays ignorance and a lack of compassion. It reminds me of the story of Christ being hailed by all one week, then booed and condemned the next.  And we are only human...  Give Amy a break!  She certainly has earned respect with her outstanding and enduring body of work.  I wish Amy well and hold her in my heart.  She is in my daily prayers.  She is a rare and incredible musical artist, and she has my wholehearted support on her life's journey. - Olivia Greene (a New Orleans musician) ......   Posted by Olivia Greene on Friday, August 28, 2009 - 3:08 PM [Reply to this]
