I'm posting this blog entry because I just want to think out loud. So here it goes. When I found out there was going to be a series based on The Terminator, it was like Christmas. The Terminator universe is some of the best and intelligent storytelling I have ever known. The pilot hit on a Sunday evening and I was blown...away.

The episodes to follow were just awesome. By the end of season one I was floored. Not only did they stay true to the mythology, but they were able to add elements and characters that made sense, and even improved on the original storyline. The end of season one left me wanting more like a thirsty man looking for water in a desert.

Long story short, season 2 started and gave me that water I thirsted for, and blew me away again. Season 2 was awesome. Yeah it had a few episodes that were kind of on a tangent, but personally I liked them. I liked watching everyone's journey, and I liked watching Sarah Connor's mind go a little batty. After all, she was  not only in a mental hospital for a while but lived for years with the fate of mankind on her, and now her son's shoulders.

Well the the season 2 finale of T:SCC hit t.v last Friday, and not only did my jaw drop, but I'm still trying to pick it back up. Not a magician in the world could have amazed and shocked me the way that episode did, especially the last 5 minutes. I only watch a few t.v. shoes, and let's face it, there are really only a handful of REALLY good shows anymore. And I'm talking good, compelling, mind blowing, smart storytelling, which T:SCC had tons of. The kind of show that makes you pray for the week to zip by fast so you can see what happens next.

Well after the season 2 finale of T:SCC - I am biting my nails, hitting every website, forum, blog, etc. that I can get my eyes and mouse on to find out anything I can on the fate of this awesome show. because as is stands now it is all up in the air. I have spread the word online, emailed, and written to FOX thanking them for such a great show and asking that they renew it for a 3rd season. Right now I am dying of T:SCC thirst, and I'm praying and fighting for a "next week on FOX" to see what happens next.

While they ended season 2 with some closure just in case, they also left it wide open for endless possibilities within the T:SCC universe. I don't know about you, but I can't put into words how badly I want to see what happens next. It's a brilliantly made show. The entire cast and crew from the writers, to the grips on set, could not have done a more perfect job putting together this story based on one of the most brilliant movie franchises ever created.

Maybe I'm I'm just a geek. Maybe I'm rambling too much by now. But that's how I feel and I just hope they bring T:SCC back for season 3.

Here's a good site to visit to get info on what you can do to get word to FOX that we ARE watching, and we are hoping.
