AFRO-DIASPORIC GROOVALICIOUS FUNKADOCIOUSNESS!!!

Wassup folks! It's been waaaay too long! We've been keeping a
low-profile for the last few months in preparation for a couple of
major announcements.

Let's start with the sad news. Some of you are already aware, but
today we are announcing the official departure from the band of our
dear sister Kelley Nicole. Kelley has moved on to pursue a solo career
and though we are crazy sad to see her go, we are wishing her the very
best and looking forward to collaborations down the road.

After an exhaustive audition process on both coasts, we are pleased
to announce the addition of our newest family member, Daniela or
"Yela" as she's known to friends & fans. Like Alex, she's a graduate
of the illustrious Berklee School of Music and is as crazy and
hilarious as she is talented. We were blessed to bump into this
amazing singer-songwriter hailing from Austria & Zimbabwe at an IHOP
in SoCal after she came off the road with Musiq Soulchild. Check out

Ok, and now the news we've been itching to share. :) It is with great
pride and excitement that we announce that Soulfège has signed a new
record deal with the Crownn Recording Group. With offices in London,
Berlin, Tokyo, Capetown and New Orleans, Crownn is an independent
label with a decade long track-record and global distribution through
Universal Music.

So what does this signing mean you ask? Two things:

1) On March 4th we will be re-releasing "Take Back the Mic" on
Crownn/Universal in the UK & Ireland. On that date we will also debut
in digital stores worldwide. We will follow up over the course of the
year w/ physical releases across Europe and in S. Africa, Japan &
Australia. If you're looking for the record online, it is no longer
available until the official March release.

2) Beginning this February Soulfège will be heading out on our first
WORLD TOUR!!! That's right y'all, for all our overseas fans we are
finally coming to town! :) The tour will start in the MidWest in early
Feb and head out to Ireland and the UK in Feb/March. We will also be
touring this Spring in S. Africa with dates to be announced in Europe,
Australia and Japan.

As you can imagine, we are completely over the moon about this. It
will be the first time that the band actually has real promotional
backing behind what we're doing. In 2009 we are taking the music & the
movement GLOBAL! Stay tuned for more info on when we're coming to a
