Hello DL friends,

Just wanted to say hello and let you know what we’re up to this month.  Thanks to all of you that have written to say hey and have come to our shows this summer.  It’s always fun for us to reconnect with friends and we always appreciate finding out what you have been up to.  Please stop by or drop a line anytime—would love to hear from you!

The next few weeks are filled with some pretty exciting opportunities for us and we hope that we’ll be in your neighborhood…if not, just request us on your local radio station (and if they don’t have the new disk, let us know and we’ll send it!). 

We were thrilled to be asked to play at Brewgrass Festival in Asheville (http://www.brewgrassfestival.com) this year, always a sold-out event filled with great music and beer.  Although we would have loved to have been able to play and enjoy all of what Brewgrass has to offer, we were also lucky enough to be selected to play at Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Reunion (http://www.bristolrhythm.com/) the same day!  So we will be running over the mountains to Tennessee instead.  If you’re able to catch us, we’ll appear at Brewgrass at 12:30-1:20.  In Bristol, we’ll be at Java J’s Stage by Settler’s Life at 6pm and the State Line Bar & Grill at 10pm.  Hope to see you this Saturday, September 19th at one of these venues!

The other big news is our first appearances in Nashville in conjunction with the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass Business Conference.  Wednesday September 30 we will appear at Norm’s River Road House with 29 Strings (http://www.reverbnation.com/venue/normsriverroadhouse) at 8PM.  Then we’ll head back to the Conference headquarters at the Renaissance Hotel, first to appear at the Colorado Bluegrass Music Association’s showcase at 11:15PM (Suite #2004) and later at the Bronzewound Afterhours Showcase at 12:30AM (Room #104 in the Nashville Conference Center, attached to the Renaissance).
